If you’re a Quantity Surveyor delivering retrofit schemes and you’re tired of short-term funding cycles, delayed payments and constantly chasing margin — this will interest you.
We’re representing a national contractor that has just secured multiple long-term decarbonisation and retrofit programmes across the South West. These are not hopeful bids — these are awarded contracts with 3–5 years of confirmed planned works.
They are building a serious commercial team and want proven operators, not CV drifters.
THE ROLE
You will take full commercial responsibility for your schemes — procurement, valuations, variations, final accounts and cash collection. You will protect margin, control risk and drive performance.
This role requires genuine understanding of PAS 2035 compliance and funding frameworks such as SHDF and ECO4. You won’t be hidden behind layers of management. You’ll own it.
WHO WE WANT
You’re already working within social housing planned works, decarbonisation or PAS 2035 compliant retrofit programmes.
You understand NEC or JCT contracts. You’re commercially sharp, structured and detail-driven.
Most importantly — you value stability and building something properly over time. This is not a stepping-stone role. This is for someone who wants to commit and grow within a long-term secured pipeline.
