We are currently on the hunt for senior Fibre Network Planners to lead on design and planning in the company. Our client is offering a superb package and excellent working conditions for the successful candidates.
Senior Fibre Planners will play a key role in the future growth and decisions around how and where they deploy their future network. You’ll be joining at the start of a very fast paced and exciting growth phase of the business with lots to get stuck into.
Responsible for the Fibre Network Planning and GIS activities, you will be instrumental in the future success and performance of the business and the geographies they serve.

What we’re looking for
•Strong fibre network planning experience with both fibre and civils exposure
•External site survey experience
•NRSWA Unit 2 Street Works: Signing, Lighting & Guarding
•Proven experience planning on FTTx Projects
•Experience with GIS systems
What you’ll be doing
•Lead design and planning activities within the company for all the outside and inside plant
•Be responsible for the day to day design and planning which will support the delivery of fibre network projects
•Undertake detailed survey work in the area
•Meet civils and fibre build design specifications
•Scheduling planning work activities
•Become a technical lead, responsible for producing high quality designs
•Mentor and train new starters and junior fibre planners
•Create detailed job packs
•Quality check planning documents created by internal and external partners
•Liaise with local authorities and other third party authorities
