As a result, they’re actively recruiting for Trainee Fibre Engineers.

Full accredited training will be given to all new starters, so no previous experience is needed.

You’ll be challenged with rewarding assignments and will get to be part of a fantastic journey within a multifaceted and dynamic high-growth business.

Trainee Fibre Engineers will be part of a fibre installation team with a team leader to provide you with mentoring and support on a day-to-day basis.

Fibre Engineers will be responsible for a variety of tasks involved in maintaining, building and delivering a quality FTTH / FTTP network.

You will be following a fibre cabling plan and once installed, engineers will carry out all necessary splicing and termination and then carry out a set of tests that will confirm the integrity and conformance to standards of each fibre section.

About you:

• Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and fault fix issues

• Previous experience of delivery to pre-defined project schedules

• Able to understand, interpret and adhere to risk & method assessments

• A basic understanding of telecoms networks

• Full driving licence
