Grantham – starting salary £38, 000 per annum
We have a great weekend opportunity for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer in Grantham.
This role is on a shift pattern of 4 on 3 off over weekends Friday to Mondays only.
This is a great role for a Maintenance Engineer who is from a manufacturing, industrial, or similar background looking to join a local company, part of a larger group.
In this 4 on 3 off role, you will be working on a range of mechanical and electrical machinery with ongoing training to help you progress your skill set.
We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer with mechanical knowledge such as bearings, compressors, chains, hydraulics and pneumatics.
Ongoing professional development can be provided for those keen to develop their career.
What you’ll be doing:
· Weekend maintenance across a busy site
· Fault finding on equipment such as electrical panels, PLC, 3 phrase circuits and control systems
· Motor testing repairs and replacement
· Mechanically replacing bearings, compressor checks, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
· Basic facility and site service maintenance when required.
