We are working exclusively to recruit an experienced Workshop Supervisor / Vehicle Technician for a fantastic client to work.

This a fantastic opportunity for HGV Workshop Supervisor / HGV Mechanic Foreman / HGV Chargehand / LGV Technician Supervisor / Heavy Vehicle Mechanic Supervisor.

A division of my client is a standalone fleet maintenance business operating from a modern, well maintained workshops and the latest tooling.

The HGV Workshop Supervisor will be responsible for a team of technicians to ensure the maintenance and repair of the fleet comprising of cars, vans, HGVs, various commercial vehicles and plant owned.

You should have an understanding of relevant regulations, technical product knowledge and significant experience of working as a technician within the vehicle industry.

City and Guilds, NVQ 3 or equivalent in HGV Vehicle Technology would be ideal.

As the HGV Mechanic Foreman, you should have a full UK driving licence, Cat C (HGV Class 2), be a qualified MOT Tester (or willing to train) and have experience of servicing, repair and inspection of HGVs, including knowledge of hydraulic systems, automotive electrics, heavy plant maintenance and automotive diagnosis and repair.

The normal working pattern is Monday to Friday finishing at 5pm.

Holiday entitlement is 25 days (rising to 30) plus public holidays.
