Assets & Estates Manager
To undertake a broad range of functions and duties required for the successful management of an existing property portfolio, delivery of new housing and commercial purchases and construction. The Surveyor will be responsible for: · Providing effective, day to day, property advice to internal and external customers, · Working within the various timescales, laid down by statute and clients, · Managing improvement based projects from inception to completion, · Managing the caseload in accordance with initiatives and directives, and · Maintaining agreed outcomes of appropriate quality.
· Full understanding of the construction project development process. · Good negotiating skills. · Thorough knowledge of building construction work and associated legislation. · General knowledge of basic engineering (civil) works · IT literate (Microsoft Office) · Good knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and use of CDM Regulations. · Working knowledge of the Party Wall Act (Desirable)
· Chartered surveyor or working towards achieving MRICS. · Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a related discipline · Holds a current site card or is prepared to immediately attain · Full driving licence or the ability to make suitable alternative arrangement
