Health and Safety Manager
The Safety Advisor will be responsible for developing and monitoring clients’ Health and Safety Documentation and carrying out regular inspections, audits and risk assessments.
You will advise on all aspects of Health and Safety, carry out report and documentation writing and develop areas of specific assessments for client.
The successful candidate will be required to keep up to date with legislation and changes in working practices, carry out accident investigations and reporting to the HSE and liaising as necessary with agencies and other professionals i.e. HSE EHO.
What we’re looking for:
•NEBOSH General Certificate
•NEBOSH Fire Certificate & NEBOSH Construction Certificate (not essential)
•Membership of IOSH
•Knowledge of health and safety within the workplace (on-the-job training/mentoring will be given on for first 2-3 months)
•Knowledge of current UK health and safety legislation and employer/employee H&S requirements
•Friendly, confident and assertive
•Good communication and people skills
