Account Executive – Third-Party Intermediaries (TPIs)
Location: Cardiff (Hybrid Working)
Salary: £30,000 per annum
About the Role
We are looking for a proactive Account Executive to support and strengthen relationships with our Third-Party Intermediaries (TPIs).
This is a key role supporting both the Business Development and Account Management teams to ensure that customer expectations are met and exceeded. You will help maintain and grow long-term relationships, coordinate communications, and ensure that service delivery meets contractual and performance standards.
This position would suit someone who enjoys relationship management, problem solving, and ensuring that both customers and internal teams are aligned for success.
Key Responsibilities
Relationship Management
• Build and maintain positive working relationships with TPIs and their key stakeholders.
• Develop a strong understanding of each partner’s requirements, challenges, and commercial objectives.
• Act as a central point of contact, ensuring queries are addressed promptly and professionally.
Account Support and Administration
• Support Account Managers in the delivery of day-to-day account activities and communications.
• Record all meetings, correspondence, and key actions to ensure accountability and transparency.
• Produce accurate and timely reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Service Performance and Improvement
• Monitor business performance against agreed service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Work with internal teams to investigate and resolve performance issues in a timely manner.
• Identify process inefficiencies and suggest improvements to enhance customer satisfaction and operational delivery.
Contract and Project Support
• Assist in the mobilisation of new contracts, ensuring smooth handover from agreement to implementation.
• Support the preparation of bids and tenders by collating and presenting relevant information.
• Maintain an up-to-date understanding of contract terms and requirements to ensure compliance.
Communication and Reporting
• Coordinate communication between internal departments and external partners, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
• Prepare and circulate meeting notes, action trackers, and performance summaries.
• Provide management with regular updates on customer performance and key issues.
Collaboration and Leadership Support
• Participate in internal and external meetings to represent the Account Management team.
• Lead meetings in the absence of senior managers, ensuring effective follow-up and communication.
• Support performance and business review sessions, ensuring customer feedback is captured and acted upon.
Continuous Improvement
• Regularly review internal processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Gather and analyse customer feedback to enhance service delivery.
• Keep informed of industry developments and trends to support best practice.
About You
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Highly organised, methodical, and detail-oriented.
• Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines under pressure.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
• Previous experience in account management, customer service, or a client-facing role.
• Knowledge of the energy sector or contractual service delivery would be beneficial.
