We’re recruiting for a professional and detail-driven Document Specialist to join a respected legal team in Spalding.
This is a key support role where you'll be responsible for formatting, preparing, and managing legal documents to a consistently high standard. You’ll be part of a fast-paced business support team, working closely with partners, fee earners and admin colleagues.
As the Document Specialist, you'll manage a busy workload of document creation, audio typing, proofreading, and file conversion. Your skills will help keep operations running smoothly, and your accuracy will ensure the highest level of service to clients and internal teams.
What you’ll be doing:
Creating, amending, and formatting a wide range of legal and commercial documents
Typing from audio dictation and ensuring accurate formatting throughout
Checking documents for consistency, spelling and grammar before submission
Converting documents between PDF, Word, and Excel formats
Managing electronic files and uploading them to the firm’s case management system
Providing quick turnaround support to partners and fee earners
What we’re looking for:
A background in legal, financial or professional services
Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Word
Fast and accurate audio typing (60+ wpm preferred)
A high level of attention to detail and document accuracy
Confidence handling confidential and sensitive information
