About the Role: Duty Control Manager

We are seeking an experienced Duty Control Manager to play a central role in delivering operational excellence. This is a vital position responsible for managing the safety, efficiency, and real-time execution of the train plan across all shifts.

Ideal for a rail professional with a strong background in control office environments and signalling, this is a rare opportunity to join a company leading the future of rail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the real-time delivery of the train plan, ensuring all operations run safely and on schedule

• Accurately report and record incidents, accidents, and environmental issues in line with company protocols

• Manage resources and personnel across your shift, adapting to operational changes and ensuring continuity

• Maintain detailed and timely operational records, supporting audit trails and continuous improvement

• Lead short-term personnel changes such as sickness, shift swaps, and compliance-related exceedances

About You:

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in rail operations, ideally within a rail control office

• Strong communication and decision-making skills, with the ability to work under pressure

• Proven ability to lead live operations and resolve issues in real time

• A commitment to safety, operational quality, and continuous improvement
