An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Internal Sales Engineer – Aftermarket to join a world-class engineering organisation renowned for innovation, technical excellence, and customer commitment. Based at the company’s European headquarters in you will play a key role in supporting the global Aftermarket team, preparing technical and commercial proposals and driving customer satisfaction for their installed equipment base.
The Role
As an Aftermarket Sales Engineer, you will be at the heart of my client's Applications Engineering team, combining technical insight with commercial acumen. Your responsibilities will include:
Reviewing customer enquiries and RFQs to prepare accurate, timely technical and commercial proposals.
Interpreting AutoCAD drawings, electrical schematics, and P&IDs to ensure solutions meet customer and industry requirements.
Working collaboratively with engineering, operations, and turnaround teams to deliver aftermarket solutions across flare, burner, and combustion systems.
Supporting customers through the full bid cycle, from initial enquiry to final negotiation and contract handover.
Participating in hands-on workshop training to deepen your product and process knowledge.
Maintaining documentation and compliance in line with ISO9001:2015 Quality Management standards.

About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
HNC/HND or higher in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related Engineering discipline.
Experience in sales, proposals, or technical support within a process, combustion, or related engineering environment.
Strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
The confidence to make informed decisions and deliver results autonomously.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with technical documentation and drawings.
A collaborative, proactive attitude and willingness to travel occasionally, including internationally.
