We are working exclusively with a leading UK Charity who are looking to fill the newly created role of Head of Programme Delivery, sitting at the heart of an organisation going through a major transformation.
You will join a thriving organisation that have embarked on a significant transformation programme affecting every part of the operation across the UK.
As Head of Programme Delivery, you will lead the Charity’s strategic planning, monitoring and programme delivery to promote a culture in which everything they do supports their vision.
The aim of role is to improve the quality of the Charity’s strategic thinking and decision-making to deliver their strategic aims and influence activity.
As well as being responsible for the effective governance and behaviours of the Main Board, key aspects of this Head of Programme Delivery role include:
· Driving the Strategy Development, Business Planning, decision-making and performance monitoring of the business programme, including financial and non-financial risks
· Developing and monitoring the business programme and risks, assuring impact and value delivery in support of strategic objectives
· Facilitating the development of business strategies and plans, ensuring the programme delivers the promised impact and value in support of strategic objectives
· Provide Strategic Analysis, Facilitation and external perspective - horizon scanning to keep abreast of external trends and competitive opportunities and threats
· Participating as a peer in the senior leadership team and contribute to strategic dialogue at Board level and with the whole of the Organisation
What we’re looking for:
The Head of Programme Delivery will have experience of successfully delivering end to end programme management including defining resources, securing project teams and matrix management.
You will be able to demonstrate that you can work on your own initiative and be comfortable in working in a geographically dispersed matrix environment supporting several programme sponsors at any one time.
In addition, you will possess excellent communication, problem solving and influencing skills and be confident liaising with Senior Leaders including Trustees.
