We’re seeking an experienced HSE Manager to oversee Health, Safety and Environmental performance across multiple sites for a leading Anaerobic Digestion operator, ideal for a confident leader who enjoys working in hands-on, operational environments.
The Role
The HSE Manager will lead relevant functions across several AD facilities, managing a team of SHEQ Advisors and working closely with operational teams to ensure safe, compliant and efficient site performance.

Key Responsibilities
· Lead, develop and maintain ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 systems
· Oversee risk assessments, HAZOPs, audits and incident investigations
· Deliver training, coaching and drive a proactive safety culture
· Ensure full compliance with environmental permits and monitoring requirements
· Investigate environmental incidents and enforce corrective actions
· Liaise with regulatory bodies, including the Environment Agency
· Lead, mentor and develop SHEQ personnel
· Report HSE performance and contribute to operational decision-making
Ideal Candidate
· NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent)
· Strong HSE leadership experience within AD, biogas, renewables, waste, utilities or process industries
· Excellent knowledge of UK HSE & Environmental legislation
· Skilled in incident investigation and root-cause analysis
· Experience maintaining ISO 45001 / ISO 14001 systems
· Confident communicator and team leader with a hands-on approach
· Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across multiple sites
