Are you an experienced leader ready to make your mark in a fast-paced FMCG environment? We’re looking for an ambitious Operations Manager to take charge of a busy slaughter facility based at Six Hills, Melton Mowbray.
As Operations Manager, you'll be responsible for the smooth and efficient running of day-to-day site operations, working across production, engineering, technical, HR, and health & safety functions. You’ll work closely with senior management both on-site and at group level, playing a key role in upholding food safety standards and driving continuous improvement across the board.
Key Responsibilities:
Co-ordinate operations across all departments to achieve site objectives and KPIs
Report business performance against budgets and targets to senior leadership
Lead, inspire and manage teams to maximise potential and performance
Implement and develop systems to optimise operational efficiency
What We’re Looking For:
At least 5 years’ experience in a senior operations role—ideally in red meat, FMCG, or food production
A confident, dynamic leader with excellent organisational and communication skills
Proven ability to work under pressure and drive performance in a fast-paced setting
Third-level education or equivalent industry qualification
Analytical thinking and a results-driven approach
