About the Paralegal Role
Based in the Grantham office, this full-time Paralegal position sits at the heart of the Private Client department, supporting Fee Earners and Solicitors on a variety of matters including wills, probate, LPAs, trusts, and estate administration.
This is a hands-on position that offers exposure to meaningful legal work while building long-term expertise. You’ll deal with clients, assist in case preparation, draft legal documents, and support the team in delivering outstanding service across the board.

Key Responsibilities of the Paralegal
Assist Fee Earners with the preparation and progression of Private Client matters
Draft legal documentation, letters of engagement, and meeting notes with precision
Conduct legal research and support ongoing casework
Liaise with clients and third parties, handling phone calls and correspondence
Maintain detailed, accurate client files and case records
Attend client meetings and follow up on actions required
Provide administrative support, including diary management, data entry, and file archiving
Ensure compliance with legal regulations and internal quality standards
What We're Looking For in a Paralegal
Essential:
Previous experience in a Paralegal role
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and a high level of organisation
Comfortable handling client communications and working under pressure
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel)
Self-motivated, professional, and team-oriented
Desirable:
Experience in Private Client law (wills, probate, LPAs, trusts)
Legal qualification or Paralegal certification
Knowledge of case management systems
A genuine interest in a long-term legal career
