We are currently working with a leading UK wide charity who are looking to recruit a Purchase Ledger Team Leader for an initial 12-month Fixed Term Contract.

Overseeing the daily running of the Ledger Team (currently three) you will ensure invoices are

processed quickly and effectively and payments are made.

As a knowledgeable purchase ledger and team leader, you will be joining a close-knit team where you’ll be responsible for keeping detailed records, reconcile aged debtors/creditors reports and helping improve the current processes.

Experience within a similar role in finance / industry is needed. The use of Microsoft, debit and credit accounts, sales ledger and accountancy systems such as Business World would be advantageous.

The Purchase Ledger Team Leader role:

•Provide leadership to ensure team targets and deadlines are met

•Train and develop your team

•Monthly reporting

•Have strong verbal and written communication skills

•Display excellent customer service

What we’re looking for:

•Experience working in a commercial financial / industry environment

•Experience leading and inspiring a team

•Experience preparing financial reports

•Able to build relationships with a range of in house and external stakeholders
