The Role
As a Litigation Associate, you’ll be involved in a diverse range of dispute resolution matters, with responsibilities including:
Managing your own caseload of commercial and civil litigation files
Supporting senior colleagues on high-value and complex disputes
Drafting legal documents including pleadings, witness statements and settlement agreements
Handling client meetings, case strategy discussions, and negotiations
Engaging with external counsel and third parties
Contributing to business development initiatives and firmwide collaboration
Ensuring compliance, risk management and timely billing on all matters
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
Has 1–6 years PQE in litigation or dispute resolution (commercial litigation desirable)
Demonstrates strong legal analysis, drafting, and advocacy skills
Communicates with clarity and confidence – both written and verbal
Works independently with good commercial judgement
Has a team-oriented approach and willingness to support junior colleagues
Is enthusiastic about building long-term relationships with clients
Understands the importance of deadlines, detail, and strategic thinking in contentious work
