Nottinghamshire – £37k - £40k per annum
I am working with a well-established business with offices in the UK and US who are looking for a Technical Sales Engineer for their overseas client base in the Caribbean Region.
Some travel to the Caribbean will be required one or twice a year and there is an option of hybrid and flexible working for this Newark based role.
We’re looking for Sales Engineer experience within an Engineering or Construction industry and looking for a new and pivotal role where you will manage long-term key accounts and longer term develop new business opportunities.
The Technical Sales Engineer will be identifying key opportunities, providing marketing support, managing customer accounts and providing a technical capability in their given country.
This role is all about relationships and so excellent communications skills are a must.
You should have experience in a client-facing position or a sales professional with significant experience in an engineering environment.
We are looking for someone who can form effective working relationships with international customers, responsible for the full sales process, from initial contact to creating and processing quotations and providing technical proposals for customers, processing orders and tracking delivery.
The Technical Sales Engineer will advise on the technical and commercial benefits of the different products available.
Does this sound like you?
•Logical, analytical and methodical, with sound negotiation skills to estimate/price enquiries and prepare quotations
•Experience reading technical drawings and engineering expertise is desirable
•Engineering or sales experience with engineering based products / machinery
•Excellent IT skills and fully competent with Microsoft Office
•The confidence and desire to speak to customers over the phone, via email and in person.
