Retrofit Site Manager

A Retrofit Site Manager is responsible for managing the on-site delivery of retrofit works—typically involving energy efficiency upgrades to existing buildings, such as insulation, heating systems, ventilation, and renewable technologies. This role ensures that all works are carried out safely, to specification, and in line with programme timelines and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Site Management

Oversee daily operations on retrofit project sites.

Coordinate subcontractors, tradespeople, and suppliers.

Ensure work is completed to specification and schedule.

Health and Safety

Enforce health and safety regulations on-site.

Conduct site inductions, risk assessments, and toolbox talks.

Quality Assurance

Monitor workmanship and ensure compliance with PAS 2035 and other relevant standards.

Conduct inspections and resolve defects or issues promptly.

Logistics and Coordination

Manage deliveries, site access, and storage of materials.

Liaise with residents, Retrofit Coordinators, and project managers.

Reporting and Documentation

Maintain site records, including daily logs, progress reports, and incident reports.

Report progress and issues to the Retrofit Delivery Manager or Programme Lead.
