Peterborough / Hybrid – £40k to £45k + 15% bonus + equity plan

My client is revolutionising the full-fibre broadband network with a category-leading brand, next-generation technology, differentiated products and services that their customers love.

They are now looking for an ambitious Web Developer and as a digital first business, this is a critical role, one central to their Marketing team.

We are therefore looking for a web developer with experience of working with marketing teams, who knows how to deliver a good user experience that effectively drives calls to action.

This role will provide development, operational maintenance and interpret web analytics across web portals, microsites and hosted campaign landing pages and blogs.

Although they’ve only been up and running a short time (early 2021), my client’s growth trajectory is aggressive, and their ambitions are bold and exciting.

With a fast paced start-up culture, their leadership team is brimming with experience from some of the UK’s leading telcos and their headcount is already past 150!

For my client, success is a group effort. It relies on having the most talented people in their teams.

So, they thrive on innovation, boldness and treating their people and local communities with respect so they can achieve their mission to make full fibre broadband in rural communities sustainable, smarter and better.

As the web expert in my client’s marketing team, it is crucial that the Web Developer candidate is passionate about sharing their knowledge and contributing to a collaborative and high performing team culture.

One of the most exciting factors of the role is the opportunity to work across different campaigns, a strong brand and launching new features.

You will also be my client’s first permanent web developer!

…. And so, there’s plenty of opportunity for a tenacious individual to test different tactics, learn from experience, optimise to drive better performance and influence the marketing strategy.

What you’ll be doing

The role of Web Developer will develop and drive the functionality & features of the website and customer portal, ensuring a clear, responsive and engaging user experience, from first interaction to becoming a valued customer.

As the Web Developer, you will consider yourself the customer’s advocate and will always look for ways to improve the user experience, heavily geared towards increasing conversion at every key goal.

What we’re looking for

·         Comfortable developing Lightning web components and working with Salesforce DX, User Interface API, and Apex

·         Experience of working closely in partnership with a UX designer; taking their wireframes and developing them, ensuring the implementation does justice to the design, but where necessary pushes back and informs/alters the design

·         To be data-driven in approach: with support from our data analytics team, be able to collect, review and present qualitative and quantitative data clearly and to use this data to support your recommendations

What ’s on offer

·         Competitive basic salary

·         15% bonus

·         25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays

·         Employee Equity Plan

·         Death in service 4x salary

·         Health cash plan – including access to GP, dental, physio and wellbeing services

·         Gym & retail discounts

….. and the opportunity to work for a brand new, fast growing and highly ambitious forward thinking business.
