Hertford – £35k to £50k – Building Surveyor

Would you like to work on a mixed portfolio of stunning modern sites, historical buildings and architectural projects?
We are seeking an ambitious Building Surveyor to visit properties, prepare reports, offer advice, and implement / project manage instructions.
If you can demonstrate successful experience at leading and delivering a wide range of complex buildings projects, then we need to talk with you.
Reporting to the Head of Building Surveying, the successful Building Surveyor will join a busy team to support the delivery of substantial infrastructure projects.
Meanwhile, you will drive the company forwards and identify new areas of business from external contracts and other HSCPM / HSC departments.

Key requirements for this pivotal Building Surveyor role include:
- Professional membership of RICS or CIOB
- Significant experience working as a Project / Building Surveyor
- Ability to oversee Contract Administration, Defect Diagnosis, Party Walls, Dilapidations, Planned Maintenance Programmes, s20 Consultations, Licence to Alter and Reinstatement Cost Assessments
- Experience of working in multi-disciplinary project teams
- Working knowledge of the ARMA and RICS Codes of Conduct and relevant building / surveying legislation
